Dr. Rathod's Appeal:
On 19th August, Vimukt Jati (A) Madhye Honanya Bogas Jaatichyor, Ghusakhori Virodhat Budhvari Sambhajinagar, a grand convention named 'Panthre Vaadal' was organized by the All India Banjara Seva Sangh. This convention was led by National President Dr. T.C. Rathod. The convention was attended by thousands of participants.
Dr. Rathod said that this convention is a historic call for cooperation among Vimukt Jati (A), which includes Banjara communities. He appealed to the community to avoid unnecessary expenses on occasions like birthdays, thread ceremonies, housewarming ceremonies, and weddings. Instead, he urged them to contribute to the community's development.
He also announced that the convention decided to form a committee of 195 members, including 14 women, to work towards the community's progress. The committee will focus on issues like education, employment, and social upliftment.
The convention also decided to start a movement to get the community included in the Scheduled Tribes category. Dr. Rathod appealed to the community to participate in this movement in large numbers.
The convention was attended by prominent leaders like Suruwat Keli, Tyantant Baheril Rajyatu, and others. The convention concluded with a vote of thanks by journalist Maganji Banjara.
